NC StarGreen Laser

As a cool addition to my gear I purchased a NC Star Green Laser Light for my M&P 9mm.
The cool thing about it is that it easily changes to a pistol flashlight simply buy changing the head of the device.  I'll have my M&P equipped with this as my CZ will be my main firearm for training.
If you look closely on the wall you can see the green dot.  i'll also take it to the range and practice target aquisition with the aid of the laser.  Pretty cool riggin' and not really expensive at $85!

B.A.D Lever for AR 15

Magpul offers a B.A.D. lever for the AR 15 platform.  It is a cool acronym for battery assist device.
It allows me to manipulate the bolt release while using only the trigger finger, thus eliminating the use of your left hand to pull the charging handle after reloads.  It's also effective in locking the bolt open when proving the weapon safe and clear or when it needs to be placed on a rack from a range command.  Super easy to install and a great aftermarket essential to increase speed and efficiency.

Smith and Wesson 686 Revolver 357 Magnum

Having a credit note at Flarrety's Outdoor store means a small piece of paper in my gun safe.  I'd much rather put it to good use.  So here's the good use!  The Smith and Wesson 686 357 magnum revolver.
I took it to the range and had a blast with this demon.  KABOOM!  Lot's of power, but it also shoots lees powerful (and less expensive 38 special rounds)

Concussive Force

Haha!  Live and learn.  I was shooting my AR 15 from 50 yards and the muzzle was a little too close to the end of my gunrest.  The AR is crazy powerful and the concussive wave that is emitted blew up my gun rest.  The stuffing was everywhere!  Next time I'll have to position it just a bit further away!

Midwest Industries Quad Rails

After replacing the stock onb my AR 15, the tech did not replace the spring.  The result was a crushed retaining spring that had to be replaced.  I also replaced the front platic grips with new Midwest Industries Quad Rails.  They are free floating so nothing touches the barrel.  They also look super Evil!

1954 7.62x39mm rifle

On this beautiful sunny November day, I  tried out a 1954 7.62x39mm rifle.
Man, this gun was fun!  Super accurate.  In fact, my shots were grouped at about 2".  Lots of fun and comes standard with a very cool (and lethal) bayonette.  There are many very cool people at Silverdale who invite you to try their firearms.  I like that.  Hopefully next week my Stag AR 15 will be ready with the new buffer retainer spring and quadrail.  Can't wait!

My new CZ 75 SP01 Shadow Canadian Edition

Today is a good day!  I picked up my CZ 75 SP01 Shadow Canadian Edition in silver.
Having seen the difficulty to optain one, I had to grab one while I could.  I really wanted to wait till spring but I really, really, wanted to make sure I could get one.  The very first shot was bang on- in the center of the center of the bull!  The accuracy of this  gun is like nothing I've experienced in my short tenure as a shooter.  However, many far more experienced shooters shay it's the best 9mm out of the box.  The CZ Canadian editions are sent fromCZ to USA where the CZ gunsmith burnishes the interior parts and barrel, enhances the hammer, replaced the recoil spring with an 11 lb spring and fully tunes the trigger.  The fibre optic sights make for easy target aquisiton and yours truly has fallen in love with this hot lil Canadian edition. What a piece! :)
